Psychological Counseling

Psychological Counseling helps to bring awareness, acceptance and change during times that may be difficult to move through. A non-judgmental, supportive and confidential space is given to guide this process. I work with current challenges and long-standing issues. My approach is guided by Western and Eastern traditions of psychology.

Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness allows us to practice being present - with oneself and the surrounding world; guiding us to move from thinking into sensing and experiencing. It supports a balance between relaxation and vividness, improving a sense of clarity and stability of mind.

Mindfulness encourages us to look at how we relate to the ever-changing circumstances of life, and to approach this with an attitude of openness and  kindness.

I guide meditations for groups as part of the MBSR © course as developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn- Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction. I also guide mindfulness meditation within counseling sessions when appropriate.
